In flexographic printing, gearless drive technology has become the preferred solution for converters that need precise registration, fast changeovers, and repeatable quality across short and long runs. Our manufacturing program includes four main configurations, each designed for a specific converting environment: the Central impression gearless flexo press for wide-web flexible packaging on films, foils, and laminates; the Gearless stack flexo press for paperboard, multi-layer board, and thicker substrates; the Gearless inline flexo press for labels, folding cartons, and single-pass converting lines; and the High speed gearless flexo press for high-volume production where throughput and uptime are critical. These systems use independent servo motors on each print station instead of a mechanical gear train, which reduces gear marking, eliminates fixed repeat length constraints, and allows automatic position adjustments that dramatically shorten setup time and improve color-to-color accuracy.
Gearless Flexo Machine is built around a direct-drive platform with servo motors on every plate cylinder and anilox roll. Each station runs independently, so operators can adjust speed, phase, and impression pressure without stopping the press. The machine supports water-based, solvent-based, and UV inks, and it can be configured with hot air, gas, or EB drying depending on the application.
